Cheryl Davis: Board President
Cheryl graduated from Spring Arbor University in 1986 with an Elementary Education Certificate with the Early Childhood Endorsement. In 1994, Cheryl earned her master’s degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood and has worked as a Preschool Lead Teacher and a Co-Director of a childcare center for several years.

Alex Wilson: Board Treasurer
Alex graduated from Central Michigan University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting. Since graduating, he has worked for the public accounting firm Yeo & Yeo CPAs & Advisors, the last 5 years of which he has been located in the Alma office.
Samantha Mitchell: Board Secretary, Communication Coordinator, Center Director
Samantha graduated from Central Michigan University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a concentration in Early Childhood. She has been working in the classroom as a lead teacher for preschoolers and infants for 8 years.
Michele Monroe: Grant Coordinator
Michele graduated from Michigan State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in French and a K-12 Teacher Certification in 2006. She taught high school French for five years, then upon the birth of her first child, she jumped full-time into the family farm she runs with her husband. Now in her capacity as Parent Liaison for the Gratiot-Isabella Great Start Family Coalition, she works with young children and families to be strong and resilient, and helps empower parents to truly enjoy their parenting journey.
