Our Mission is to provide high-quality childcare while fostering a positive community relationship.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is our nation’s leader for Early Childhood Education. NAEYC lays the foundation of 10 Program Standards for high-quality early childhood programs to follow. We aspire to follow this model as well as other areas.
NAEYC’s 10 Program Standards
Our essential goals for providing high-quality early education in our program:
* Low ratios, so children have more one-on-one time with caregivers
* Highly trained and qualified teachers
* Support staff: Office, janitorial, maintenance, and food service staff so teachers can focus all of their working time on the children and the classroom.
* Equipment that will last and is replaced easily and quickly when broken.
* A wide variety of art, science, music, and extracurricular experiences in the classroom.
* Outdoor play spaces that continue the classroom outside: Interest areas that foster development and open exploration.
* Field trips to area attractions and businesses for children to experience the community around them.
* Strong connections to the greater community, resulting in more opportunities for children.
* A focus on health and nutrition and a center with aย commercial kitchen where meals can be made from scratch with fresh ingredients.
