We do lots of fun activities! See if you can find you or your child in our gallery.
These activities represent the quality learning experiences we would offer in our childcare. Children learn through open-ended play and exploration. Our childcare will offer daily activities in the following areas: Art, Sensory, Math, Science, Literacy, Music and Movement, Social-Emotional, and more. Our classrooms- divided by age- would serve children ages 0-13, and offer educational activities based on where children are at to bring them to the next level of learning.
Block city creation. Experimenting building with blocks. Exploring shapes and patterns. Creating a sensory bottle. Examining a grumpy face illustration to recreate. Exploring how the magnetic marble maze works. What does it smell like? Creating a volcano of water beads. Using fine motor pinchers to fill the bottle. Matching emotions to our own face. Practicing Fine Motor skills, cutting with scissors. Catching super bubbles on the wand. How do we make a boat out of tinfoil that will hold several rocks and still float? Scooping and pouring dirt is a great sensory experience. Offer gardening gloves for those that don’t want to experience it first hand. Everyday Science: predicting what will sink and what will float. Oobleck is a great sensory experience. Painting with different textures. We did all of them! What happens if I do this? How many pipettes will it take to make it rain? Making a Birthday cake. A friend helping to set up the Sensory table! It is important for young children to be able to help in adult tasks! Science and Sensory: Both are pumpkins, but the insides and outside are different! Compare and contrast properties of objects. Exploring puzzles and gourds. Creating flower patterns with natural wooden pieces. It is important to offer art experiences with real art materials. It communicates to children that they are important and their ideas and creations are valid. Tying knots to make dog toys.
